“Work, Travel, Save, Repeat”
This is what “Team Ashtex” is all about, we do a lot of work, have fun times while we work and yes we travel!
When all is going well apparently, you don’t put much thoughts in keeping your company alive and thriving. You need to keep the morale of your team members high, keep throwing work challenges at them but don’t forget to give them breaks as well.
Collaboration is one of the main team goals which you would want to achieve, the more you foster the culture of jelled up teams the more productivity advantages you will have.
“Leisure times bring the team closer and give them time to jell up, that’s the major highlight of our leisure trips.”
Enroute to Murree Hills :
A short trip to Murree hills via Islamabad valley, Faisal Mosque / Damn-e-koh was one of the break everyone was looking up for. Our Journey to Murree hills included a short stay at Islamabad where everyone enjoyed the lovely scenery around Faisal Mosque right at the time of dusk. The picturesque views that area offered was truly mesmerizing.
Visit to Kohala Hills :
The first stop we took after reaching Murree was a beautiful place named as “Kohala”. It is the site of the well-known Kohala Bridge across the Jhelum River. It is a gateway to the Muzaffarabad and Bagh districts of Azad Kashmir. It lies where Punjab, Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa boundaries meet and it offers scenic views.
While we traveled to the “Top” like real top from Murree hills, I can tell from my experience that you are going to come across some real rough patches of road. After the overwhelming journey we had, everyone was super excited to see the running waterfalls which were full of freezing water. The team enjoyed every bit of that barbecue party, as Mark Twain puts it aptly :
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” ~ Mark Twain
The team had plans to enjoy a ” Live Barbecue” party in the cold surroundings of Kohala. It was an immensely fascinating activity to see the guys who are generally known for their “development” skills showing their great cooking skills as well. Feet under the cold water and live hot barbecue turned out to be a perfect combination which everyone seemed to enjoy to its fullest.
That’s one of the best things at Ashtex Solutions, we are one big family who knows how to work and have fun times together.
Roaming around Murree Hills:
The day was followed by our brief rest at hotel and short trips to various places within the Murree region. The main highlights were Mall road, Nathia gali and Patriata.
Lunch at Monal:
The following day was all about an awesome breakfast with charming views of Murree hills and our sad departure from the beautiful valley. On our way back to Lahore we had a short stay at Islamabad again, the main highlight being lunch / tea break at Monal (since everyone really wanted to have a gathering at the “Original” Monal unlike Lahore 🙂 ) This covers up a small glimpse of the fun we had and we look forward to the next stop with the Ashtex Family.
“After climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb. “ ~ Nelson Mandela
